We decided on an Indian for our Anniversary, after visiting it was a very good choice, definitely recommend you visit. Thurs(Tues also) just happened to be Banquet Night, £11.95 which you receive a starter, main(pay £2.00 extra for seafood & Connoisseur Menu), vegetable side dish & a nan. Started with Popadoms with chutney Onion Salad, Mango Chutney(not too sweet, which I have found in past), Mint Sauce(with extra spices) & House Special Sauce which we’re all yummy, explained how they were made, after which you were trying to find the flavours. Starters were King Prawn Butterfly & Sheek Kebab(recommended, so moist). Both mains were recommended, Sizzling Chicken Nawabi & Babursi Special(for went the rice, the accompany sauce was so tasty), accompanied with a garlic & Peshwari nan(large & fluffy, best I have tasted), gorgeous, but could not eat it all. it was so gorgeous & yummy, subtle flavours which just grew the more you ate. We were given a very yummy shot on the house. Then I mentioned that it was our Anniversary, they were like have dessert, but just couldn’t, however they did give one to go home. The Manager was very friendly, informative, so was his cousin who initially served us & gave the recommendations. The feeling was to make your experience of their wonderful food as pleasing as they could. Will definitely be visiting in the future.

I visited the Rose of Bengal restaurant with my family and had a very satifiying meal. We didnt try the buffet but we were shown around the buffet area and all the food looked fresh and the smell was mind blowing. The 3 of us decided to order from the menu. For starters we had: Chicken chat masala, Prawn butterfly and Prawn puri. We had a bit of each and couldnt fault a thing. For mains we ordered: Tandoori trout, Chicken Badame and just to be awkward i asked the chef to make me a curry that wasnt on the menu, Mango chilli chicken. The food was very fresh and very flavourfull. The chef even came out to make sure that i was satisfied with my curry. All in all a very nice meal at a very reasonable price. Would recommend!!!

We tried the new Rose of Bengal restaurant last night and found a very pleasant and welcoming atmosphere the host explained the menu and even introduced the chef to discuss how we would like our meal seasoned, which we found to be a real advantage if you are unfamiliar with the dishes as we were. The food was outstanding and very reasonable value. The wine also was very reasonably priced, the level of service was also very good. We will return to the restaurant and will also recommend it to friends and family.
