I booked a family get together here for my elderly fathers birthday. was very surprised at the service & food we received .The staff went out of their way to make it special for himthe food was BRILLIANT, can’t thank them enough for their kindness. a must if anyone is planning a young/​older persons party. THANK YOU COACH HOUSE .(party was 27÷4÷13)

Toilets are dirty, fans in toilet not working, hand dryer not working and mould growing up the wall behind the toilets. This isn’t a place you want to visit when its not busy as my meat was cold the potatoes warm and the gravy really really thick and salty and not a smile from the staff at all. we wont be trying it again as this is twice this has happened to us.

Brilliant value £3.95 (during the week, more for sunday) for a carvery, meat was lovely and a nice range of veg. Choice of beef, gammon or turkey or you could have some of all. You could have as much veg as you want and go back up for more veg. Good service, lovely clean pub. Well decorated and really comfortable. Plenty of room and young families in there for carvery tea.
Well worth a visit and I will be going back with my family.

formally known as the north star this pub has had a complete overhaul, tastefully done, food is a cavery £5.00 a head other option are available but veggies take note not too much choice
but meat lover are in for a treat, fresh veg, generous portions of meat, its cheaper to eat out if its just the two of you than to cook it. Self service/​waitress depends on how busy they are.
