WHY is there ALWAYS a massive queue here??? It’s strange — they are quite expensive compared to a lot of the other shops, especially as far as greeting cards go — but there is always a massive queue at the front of the shop!
They have some nice gift ideas, but they are generally quite pricey if you compare them to other high street shops.
The layout of the store is quite claustrophobic too — the displays are high and wide — if you panic easily, don’t go in!
They do have a wide selection of books, and often have special offers on.
They also have Cd’s and DVD’s upstairs, but their prices are way more expensive even than HMV, and that is expensive compared to online retailers.
There is one great thing about this WH Smiths tho — they have an honesty box for your daily papers — so if you don’t have the time to queue up, then you can just drop your money into the box and leave with your paper!
The staff aren’t overly friendly, but neither are they rude or obstructive, they’re just there!
