My Mum likes this shop and she’s 72 so that should kind of give you an idea of what sort of fashion (or not) that they sell here. Lots of pastels and elasticated waists at cheap prices. It caters for mostly the older and more voluptuous ladies. The shop is roughly halfway down Northgate Street and is brightly lit, but very cramped. Wheelchair users and pushchairs will struggle.
They do sell good socks though I must say.
Staff are generally nice, but can get a bit in your face about the Bön Marche Card.
Recommended for your Mums.

Not a shop for the under 40’s! This shop is really cramped, and difficult to navigate — if you have a pushchair or a wheelchair, then you stand no chance!
They have some cheap clothes in here — but it’s not the height of fashion. but good if you want something with an elasticated waist!!!
The staff are quite abrupt and not particularly customer friendly, and will always try and get you to join the Bön Marche club — and if you don’t, they tend to get even more abrupt — so I guess they get a bonus for it or something?
On a plus side — they do have some nice underwear in larger sizes (if you can fight your way to the back of the shop!) and some nice accessories.
