Bit of a grubby place, great if you like rubbing elbows with strangers sat next to you. Poor food, served by people who’s expressions wouldn’t look out of place at a funeral. Hotdog tasted like it could have been purchased in the 50’s and rewarmed in the microwave before serving. Chicken was harder than a rock with all the taste of one too. All the atmosphere of a wet fart. All in all better than a poke in the eye.

On one of my first days back in the UK after a couple years, I was part of a group that decided to check this diner out. Just left the U.S. and already getting a taste of home.
So, upon walking in, I noticed a glaring resemblance to the U.S. chain Johnny Rockets– retro décor abounding, including a juke box and many 50s style posters adorning the walls.
For burgers, the smallest size available is a 6 oz. burger which is already bigger than a McDonald’s Quarter Pounder. I’m not entirely sure why they offer patty combinations up to 24 oz., but I suppose if you can dream it, you can achieve it. They’re also quite expensive with the 6 oz. being £10.99 and you have to order the chips & drink separately. I was disappointed to realise the burgers don’t come with cheese. The burger was quite good, thankfully.
Service was almost non-​existent after the food arrived, and no one came to check on us whilst we ate.
Overall, the experience was just OK– not sure if we would make a big effort to return when we can get better value elsewhere.
