Wilton Convenience Store

A lovely wee shop hidden away– it is only wee but manages to stock lots of goodies and necessities without feeling overcrowded or as if it needs a good duster to it. I can get in with a buggy and still have space to roam without feeling as though I am taking over the whole store. Very organised and has a good selection of bits and bobs. Perhaps most importantly — in fact definitely most importantly– the staff we have encountered are lovely. If they mind at having to indulge a small child’s desire to conduct all transactions they hide it very well… and they even gave my wee one a free book as they held the door open for us. It’s a bloody long story so perhaps verging on passive aggressive but I’m going to take it as lovely all the same :). Thank you for your lovely customer service Wilton Convenience Store.

Here are a few scenarios that have happened and have made me rejoice in the closeness and… eh, convenience of this wee store:
‘No darling, I shall not be drinking tonight. I spent all of yesterday in a state of mild hungoverment and wish to take it easy tonight so that I am in a fine fettle come tomorrow morning…
9:30pm: NEED BEER *Hop across the street* Have beer!
Ahhhhh, forgot milk, child needs milk, need milk… stop screaming!‘
And many many more.
It’s right there. It’s pretty well stocked. It’s reasonably priced for a corner store, so yeah, me likey!
