This is one for the younger kiddies, and usually packed on Saturdays. Despite its nautical name, it isn’t a swimming pool: it is an indoor adventure playground, with the highlight those rooms full of brightly coloured balls that provide endless amusement to the under fives. The café is filled with parents taking the weight off of their feet: situated in Shawlands’ Arcade, it is nice and convenient to treat little’uns bored by shopping and needing an outlet for that excess energy. It fills a niche perfectly, and one of the longer lasting and successful ventures in this idiosyncratic little shopping mall.

This is a good indoor softplay area for kids of all ages — there are different play areas catering for different ages groups so there is no real worry about babies and toddlers getting accidentally trampled on by older children in their excitment. Plenty of seating for the adults at the café section and you can still see your children playing whilst enjoying a coffee.

This indoor kids play area is a really good place for kids and parents alike, especially on wet days. A separate area for toddlers ensures that the younger kids are safe from the older ones running around. There is a good café offering a wide range of reasonably priced food and drink including home baking, newspapers/magazines are available for adults to enjoy while kids run around. Easy parking in nearby Shawlands arcade and good bus links make it easliy accessible for all. Good value, fun way to tire the family out. Staff are always around to ensure no-one gets too rowdy or gets hurt, and are always cheerful and friendly
