Visit Scotland

The boss wasn’t helpful, he didn’t wanna search for a better place to stay for us, just because he might toughs that we could not pay for a guesthouse. We don’t look like we buy or closing on Harrods (expensive shopping mall London red.), but that says nothing about how much we are willing to pay for our stay. He didn’t took our complains about the Eurohostel seriously: «the ‘visit scotland’ had good experience with this hostel and there is nothing wrong about the quality» he said. Very disappointed.
Luckily an other person, a sweet lady helps us further for a good reach to find a new play to stay. She did made a lot of calls to make sure if there was any place for two, told us witch buses we could take to the other hostel and showed us how to walk. She was very patience and polite! She did helps us a lot!
The building has moved since the 14^th of February, so the new location isn’t on any tourist or guarding map. It is on the buchanan street now not on George square!

As part of the national tourism advocacy, this store is a good first stop for anybody arriving in Scotland without any idea of what to expect. A large area of the shop is given over to postcards, guide books and the like, although it is also a good place to find mid-​range accommodation across the country.
It doesn’t really offer the sort of service that helps backpackers get to know a city, and isn’t much use for finding that nightspot or hip club: it is all about the dependable favourites: museums, guided tours and so on. It’s all worth missing this if it is Glasgow that you want to find out about: this is more for national tourism. St Enoch has a better local information centre.
