Unfortunately, like Eleanor, I also seem to have a problem with rugs and carpets. Not quite make-​up or straighteners though, more the red wine, fizzy juice and curry stains. Oh, yes I’m a lady.
Anyhoo, as you can imagine I’ve been through my fair share of rugs — I’ve given up on carpets and decided wooden floors and the odd rug is the easier, cleanest and best way to go. Hence, this is a place I’ve popped into more than once.
It’s a massive place! Not only do they have masses of carpets and rugs in all shapes, sizes and colours but they also offer vinyl and eh other cold floor coverings. You know the stuff I mean right?
As you can tell I’m not that into my DIY and luckily the staff in here and really friendly and gave me very clear instructions on how to lay some vinyl (or something) in my tiny bathroom. After much huffing, puffing, the odd swear word and a bottle of red wine it was done! Good job done all round!
Oh and obviously as Eleanor pointed out the prices are very reasonable, there’s a wide range of stock and they are also open seven days. Top marks.

I have a bit of a problem at my house. My mum has a thing for rugs. I have a thing for dropping make-​up on rugs. Oops. Nevertheless, my mum occasionally comes home with a brand new rug for my room. With this mass collection of rugs she just seems to encourage the make-​up spilling or even worse — the straighteners burning the rug. I don’t know how I manage it — I guess I am just really clumsy but every rug I’ve ever had always manages to get some kind of mark on it.
My mum even bought me a rug for my old flat and guess what, make-​up got on that too. It wasn’t all my doing though, turns out my old flatmate was also pretty clumsy when it came to make-​up on rugs. Who knew?
