My Aunt had a milestone birthday last weekend with a party on Saturday to celebrate it. Back when I was in the UK last month, I had decided I wanted to send her a bouquet for the party and my cousin’s wife referred me to Toska Florists. Last week I looked at a couple of floral websites in the UK to see what their pricing was like and then called Toska on Wednesday to see if they had a website and ask about their pricing. I explained that I was looking to have a bouquet delivered on Saturday… what I didn’t realize was that I was ordering for delivery during the UK’s mother’s day weekend! The woman I spoke with told me if I placed the order that day, she’d be able to have the flowers delivered on Saturday morning. They didn’t have a website, but the woman took the time to chat with me and I told her what I was looking to spend, and I mentioned that my Aunt loves Daffodils. She suggested that she put a few daffodils in the bouquet and mix it up with purple flowers. I liked the idea, gave her my card # and message for the card and crossed my fingers for the best. My Aunt definitely received the best. My cousin texted me a photo of the bouquet(see picture) and it exceeded my expectations. According to my cousin, it’s the nicest one my Aunt received and it’s her favorite of the birthday bouquets… although she could be biased since it’s from her favorite(read: only) niece! If Toska can execute a lovely order from a phone call across the pound, I’m sure they would do the same for someone who’s local.
