Let’s start by getting one thing straight — it’s called Three In One Plus and here is the proof! With the discovery that my preferred local take away curry place has a bit of work to do to get a food hygiene certificate, I was on the look out for a new takeaway curry supplier. I’ve eaten many chicken tikka kebabs from here over the years and the odd pizza(although they are over cheesed for my tastes) I’ve rarely had one of their curries. This weekend, with the wife ‘daan sowf’ I took the opportunity to try the Chicken Jalfrezi. I ordered it without checking out the ingredients — in essence a game of curry roulette. The saucy was tasty enough and the chicken cooked but it came with a lot of mushrooms. I hate mushrooms. I’ve never liked them. Let’s not forget they are fungus — like athlete’s foot. So I had a considerable sifting job before sitting down to eat. This of course is not the fault of the establishment(it’s my fault), so they haven’t been marked down for this. It tasted nice though and the naan was excellent.

This three and one has been there for years, at least 20ish as I used to get takeaways here with my mum and dad when I was little, we would also pop next door to the old Global Video so I could pick one, I always went for Thomas the Tank Engine, good times. You don’t get much better than the standard of chips here, but make sure you order them with plenty of salt and vinegar as it makes them taste 100 times better than any other chips I’ve eaten. I can also highly recommend the baked potato with spicy chicken, if you like the thought of your tongue being given a chinese burn then this is perfect.
