Shopsmart

This newsagents/​convienience store sits not far from a few others on Dumbarton Road but I always go here if I need any bread, rolls, milk, etc… I like their choice of products & the lay-​out of the store is so much better than some of the other shops nearby that feel cramped & claustrophobic.
They have a free to use cash machine outside which is very handy & they also do a good line in weekly offers on food & drinks ~ I actually buy all my fizzy drinks from here as they tend to be on offer 90% of the time & therefore much cheaper than at the local supermarket; usually with a BOGOF offer or something similar.
As well as the usual mags, fags, bread & milk they also sell a good selection of sweeties/​chocolates & other snacks & a selection of cakes/​pastries alongside the usual canned goods & household items.
When i’m not in for fizzy juice I come here for their (Mortons) rolls. They are the nicest (freshest) and cheapest in the area I have found so far.
They’re licensed as well so occasionally have offers on their alcohol — I usually get a good deal on the lager/​beer which on occasion, again, I find to be cheaper than the supermarkets. It just goes to show that not all of these wee shops are a rip-​off or twice as dear as a regular supermarket.
Staff are always pleasant & the shop is always kept really clean & tidy.
