I do like this Sainsbury’s as it is a large store, with a huge range of products. Bus and car travel to this supermarket is really easy(bus is at retail park entrance). Their range of clothing is very large(womens, mens, children and shoes, with seasonal offers like swim/beach wear and sportswear and accessories like bags and jewellery). The household section has modern and seasonal decorations, as well as dedicated areas for kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and electricals. The main food area has many specialist ranges(roughly dividable into Caribbean, Polish, Indian, free from and Kosher) as well as an in store bakery and deli and the usual large greengrocery, tinned goods, homemaking, baby, drinks, butchery and ready meal selections as one would expect from a large store. There is a café upstairs, and free wifi.

Great supermarket in kingsgate retail park. Free parking too. I’m using the travel bureau today to pick up euros and getting extra points on my nectar card too!

It’s not just the nectar points that bring me back to this particular supermarket week after week. Obviously, when you get used to your supermarket, you get to know where every little thing is without having to wander around the isles thinking about asking another member of staff. I’ve been to every brand of supermarket and there’s just something nicer about this particular shop. I’ve been to other Sainsbury’s as well, and they don’t even feel as nice as this one. The only fault that I DO come across some weeks, is that the same staff that cover the deli’ counter have to cover the hot chicken counter at the end of the shop, and, because there is a large egg shelf between, they don’t see you if you’re waiting to be served. You are stuck with the dilema of moving from your position at the front of the queue and walking up to the deli counter to tell the staff that you’re wanting. They might come down and serve the person who was waiting behind me first. I toss and turn in bed at night worrying about the thought of it sometimes. I think I like this shop because the staff are relaxed and friendly

This is a good Sainsbury’s store. You can get all your weekly grocery shopping done here very easily. They always have the shelves very well stocked and rarely have products unavailable. They also have a nice café which is great if you have spent a while in the shop and need a refreshing break. The fruit and vegetables are fresh and a good price. I also like to buy lunch from their help yourself salad bar because you get exactly what you want and how much you want too.

This sainsburys superstore is located within the Kingsgate retail park in East Kilbride. Its huge and has a wide variety of items within it. On entering there is lots of fresh fruit and vegetables. Next aisles are cd’s dvd, magazine and cards. The other aisles have your usual foods as well as some unusual foods from other countrys. This sainsburys has a large clothes section where you can pick up some lovely items of clothing and shoes. Sainsburys do lots of offers throughout the year including 25% off clothes and recently had half price toys. Plenty of parking spaces as well as disabled and parent and child. A lovely clean supermarket with friendly staff and short queues –what more could you want !

Based in Kingsgate retail park in East Kilbride this is my favourite supermarket and has been since I started shopping here back in 2000. It has a good range of fresh produce clearly marked in regards to origin, I prefer to buy ‘local’ where I can and Sainsbury’s are very good at plastering a saltire on anything even remotely Scottish. Unlike some supermarkets I’ve been to in recent times this Sainsbury’s does a really good job of marking down the end of shelf life produce which saves me lots of cash and is also virtually the only way I can afford to eat meat. More generally the store isn’t too big, but still manages to stock a variety of non-food items including clothing, electrical equipment, dvd’s, cd’s and so on. It has good lavatory facilities, although they are a tad small at times when you’ve got a small child in tow. They also have a really good café where we often stop off for a bite to eat if we’re pushed for time … oh yeah, the staff are really friendly too and there are one or two characters who really make the place feel like somewhere you belong.
