Safestore

I use Safestore in Dalmarnock as I’ve run out of room in my wee one-​bedroom flat and I’ve got stupid hobbies that require a lot of gear (camping, medieval re-​enactment, etc). From the outset, I’ve been impressed at how friendly they were and how easy they are to deal with. You can get a quote via their website and they’ll call you within 15 minutes to discuss your options. I originally took a small unit for a month (about the size of a large cupboard) to clear out some stuff while I had friends from the US staying last summer, but I couldn’t bear to unpack it all back into the house so I just kept it on. It’s not that cheap — I pay around £50 a month, but that price is competitive with other storage companies and their customer service really is good. They’ll do you quotes for different sizes of rooms, they explain everything really clearly, if you want to extend your lease or ask questions then it’s no problem and they’re chatty and friendly whenever you go. The unit is clean and secure and it feels like a very professional set up. Would definitely recommend to anybody looking for a storage unit.
