Argyll arcade is the place to go if you’re looking for jewellery in Glasgow and the surrounding area. If you’re looking for anything else then you will be disappointed.
There are probably a good twenty or thirty retailers here all with very enticing window displays. There’s something for all budgets and all tastes, from modern to antique and the shop owners of the smaller shops are very knowledgeable and eager to help with the choice, be it an engagement ring or simply a new watch strap.
Sometimes the sheer amount of choice can be a bit crippling though and I certainly found it too hard to choose my wedding ring from amongst the shops. I give it two stars because there is only one sort of shop.

the argyll arcade links the buchanan street shopping precinct with argyle street in glasgow city centre
— it is the retail jewellery centre of glasgow and as you walk through it is completely dazzling as the bright lights bounce off the beautiful diamonds glistening in every window
— its often full of courting couples window shopping and especially at christmas there are many girls strolling through looking for items to put on their christmas wish list
— some of the shops specialise in antique/​second hand jewellery
— its a good place to go in winter get out of the wind & rain and banish any possible SAD symptoms
— checkout the latest designs in watches (before they disappear completely) — apparently less people wear a watch now and rely on their mobile phone
