This is a little shop that AllyG has been talking about visiting for years. Finally on Saturday we got the chance to pop in. What a treat for us. The shop can only be describes as a treasure trove for all things Whisky, Cigar and tobacco. Not being smokers I can’t really talk too much about the smoking products but there seemed to be an extensive collection and they have a humidor located at the back of the shop. The whisky selection was absolutely brilliant, with lots of bottles I had never seen before. I could have stood and looked at the range for hours but my attention was immediately pulled to their small selection of gins and wines. Deciding to treat myself to a little bottle I started looking at the New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. After picking up a tasty looking little number a member of staff saw me looking at it and said it was the only wine Victoria Beckham drank and it was very difficult to find in Glasgow — SOLD! Who cares if it’s true of not I still feel now that VickyB and I are now destined to be BFFs. As you would expect in this type of shop the staff are incredibly knowledgable and helpful. A great little shop selling brilliantly interesting things — I will definitely be back soon to stock up again.

Very small shop inside but that has never seemed to be an issue when chatting to the friendly staff who go out their way to try and accomodate my booze related requests. Not always got the bottle i am looking for, but when looking for something interesting for a bothy/party/night in, i can always be recommended something new that otherwise may have gone inconsidered.

A good shop for buying whisky that you usually can’t buy in the supermarket. I have been there on several occasions looking for a particular malt whisky but where unable to help(they never heard of it). They also supply tobacco and cigars. Expect to wait for service though even if you are the only one there as staff are always on the phone.

I am not a fan I hate weird whisky bottles. I remember seeing these at relatives houses. These bottles would have been handed to them at Golf Club Award ceremonies and were in the shape of a golf ball or a Scottish thistle. They are usually filled with terrible whiskies and sold to folks who do not know better. Robert Graham may be a decent tobacconist but they sell whiskies that are not worth the price and slightly embarrassing to own.

This wee shop is hidden away just next to China Buffet King, but i would never have noticed it otherwise. I don’t smoke, or drink whisky, so i wouldn’t usually have a need to visit Robert Graham’s, but it was for a gift. It is reeeeallly small inside, and sells mostly tobacco related stuff; pipes, papers, cigars and cigs, everything that the smoking enthusiast could ever want! I’ve always secretly wanted a pipe(think smouldering Sherlock Holmes-esque mystique) but i resisted the temptation at over 25 pound a pop. They also sell whisky, and is great for gifts, with commemorative whisky bells and glass globes for your dad or grandad. A nice wee shop to break up the commercial nature of Buchanan Street.
