I have eaten here a number of times, with parents, friends and work nights out. They always have deals on however often there is a supplement charge for dishes. It is pretty much dead if you go during the week… which is good or bad depending on your occasion! Service has always been good. I have tried a number of their dishes and have always enjoyed them. I like the variety available and I enjoy the dessert platter where you can share with friends. The interior is nice and you get a nice view of the Clyde too.

I visited this restaurant last night with a party from work, there were 10 of us in total, we had a semi private dining room that said it would not have mattered as we were the only people in the place, it made it all very soulless, atmosphere zero. Our menus were already on the table and a server asked us if we wanted drinks as I was last to arrive all my other friends had got a drink from the bar. Another server told us that soup of the day was carrot & chili and then as she walked away told us that there were other specials if we wanted to know what they were we could ask??? Well ask we did and like most things on this from £20.00 for 3 courses menu they all came with a supplement. I had haggis balls for starters and it they were definitely a bought in starter well enough presented on a base of honey mustard & salad but nothing stunning, for mains I had pork loin & chorizo mash & some kind of orange jus, no vegetables were present, it was served on a plate that I would serve the Sunday roast for all the family on a meat platter and the food was stacked in the middle of it why must we have all our food presented in a tower. Desert was also uninspiring I had sticky toffee pudding and whilst the ice cream was sitting in a little brandy basket it was the only personal touch about the desert, the sticky toffee pudding was like a slice of a shop bought McVities cake and was very dry. I may be being a little critical here but I had heard such good things about this restaurant and on their website they say they are the best in Glasgow sorry folks, don’t want to burst your bubble but I have had much better for less money in lots of other Glasgow restaurants
