The small child was in a buoyant mood fueled by ribena, baby belle cheese and a half day at the nursery where she was quite emphatically the ‘king of the castle. daddy’. With the post nursery/pre dinner time emotional collapse avoided on this occasion, I was keen to stick my snozzle into this place which I’d seen pop up a wee while ago. Having also noted that nobody else had snaffled the FTR, I smelled a wee two way win on the cards! Right, so this place. Well it don’t take the keenest of reviewing eyes to see that it’s pretty small! The beauty though, is that it’s perfectly formed! With clothes of the vintage type stylee very much on the menu, this wee joint caters to both the laddles and the gentlespoons. Fling in a wee range of books, random doo dahs and other type creations and you have yerself a tasty wee charity shop and most importantly, one that’s not been priced with a Byres Rd clientele in mind. Oot n the charity bash? Do give this place a go. It most certainly deserves a quick swatch!
