Uncle Mo is held in high regard round these parts, as he has both the business sense and passion for his work to operate a 24 hour shop that delivers on a level far above the norm. If I remember correctly, he also comes with a bit of celebrity status as his shop was featured on TV a few years back. It definitely portrayed Mo in a positive light, but was long enough ago for me to forget what it was actually about.
Anyway, the other reviews pretty much cover it. A 24 hour shop on steroids, with a far wider selection of pretty much everything, and friendly service from the staff who will always remember who you are.

Mo’s is a really friendly 24 hour store to duck into in the wee small hours when you are craving a midnight snack.
They have a wide variety of stock, including lots of sweets, and the prices are kept affordable.
I’ve frequented here during many a mad partying night, or even when I’ve just spilled out drunk from the Captain’s Rest after close. Mo’s is a lifesaver when you need a snack to sober you up, and the best thing is he and his extended family never seem to get irritated when you’re a drunken mess, with money strewn everywhere and indecision over what candy to buy.

Mo’s looks a bit dinky from the outside. But walk in, and it stretches all the way back. It’s got a great selection of grocery goods, and is a favourite of mine.
Now, there is a Spar next door, and you might be tempted to go there instead of Mo’s. Don’t. I always feel like Mo’s is friendlier, better selection and better prices. Plus, you’re supporting an independent shop owner.
Don’t let the outer décor fool you. Mo’s. Is. The. Place.
