McChans

Being on a healthy eating drive at the moment, I wasn’t expecting to be ordering from a chinese takeaway on Saturday evening — but life happens. Since I was in Dennistoun and not in the depths of Cumbernauld as usual, I went with highly recommended McChans for my choice of dinner.
I went for a special chow mein (no mushrooms) and some salt & chilli chips and was thrilled when they arrived within 25 minutes, with a token can of juice asking to consider reviewing them on Just-​Eat. Absolute bribery but hey, I’ll take it!
The chow mein was actually lovely, great portion size and the noodles were smoky tasting, with the meat nice and tender, and generously portioned. The salt & chilli chips were nice enough, although the texture was a bit unusual (almost like the chips were slightly battered!)… I prefer just normal chips with the seasoning on top.
If I was in the area again, I would happily try McChans again.
