Kai Xin Cuisine

Really disappointing meal from Kai Xin tonight.
Just home from my holiday and I decided on a treat rather than cook.
I ordered salt and chilli king prawn with fried rice.
I was really impressed with the speed of the delivery only about 15 minutes after ordering.
Upon serving the food everything looked fine until I got to the rice which was stuck together and tepid. It felt like it was fried much earlier in the evening and reheated. Prawns were mushy as well and the chilli was not chopped properly. Two half chill is we’re sitting in the dish with knife scores on them.
The food tasted stale, a few mouthfuls in and it went straight in the bin.
The problem with Kai Xin is consistency, some nights the food is great and others it’s atrocious. This will be my last order from here.

Great chinese/​cantonese food. Served really fresh and has an extensive menu. Staff are superb and friendly. The drinks are reasonably priced too, for a restaraunt. The service is quick and nothing is too much trouble for the waitresses. They have superb deals on at lunchtime, with a three course business lunch for £6.95. The take away food is also superb. I havent used their delivery service so cant comment on that. They have cabaret nights which are a bit cheesy, but good fun.
