I actually had a completely different experience than the other reviewers. We came on a Sunday in the afternoon. It was quite busy but I could imagine Saturday being really crazy. We found a clerk pretty quickly and she helped us through all of the prams we were interested in. it’s so wonderful to go to one place and try out all the different prams. Looking online doesn’t do it justice. If they do not have something in stock they can either ship it to your house for a fee or you can pick it up from the store for free. They also had alot of the Bugaboo limited editions on the floor. Some I had never seen in any other shop. Their nursery furniture also seemed really nice and I love a lot of the cots that transformed into toddler beds. They have their own parking lot on the opposite side street to their place. It’s not paved but it’s parking. I could see it being awful if there were a ton of people there though since the parking spots aren’t defined. I walked up to someone and asked them about a specific pram and then asked them more questions. Alot of the salesclerks are very busy so I’d just grab one when you see someone. BUT I also might have just had a exceptional sales clerk. I do think that you should know a few of the ones you do like. If you go here expecting to pick out the PRAM on the first try I think that might be a bit overwhelming. We knew the prams we loved and didn’t love. We test drove a few we had never seen before but ultimately we knew what we wanted.

First, go to Pram Mart in Govan instead. Second, yes, this place does have a huge selection. But unless you know exactly what you are looking for it’s an incredibly overwhelming place. Because… Third, the service is terrible. I am the ideal customer for a salesperson. I actually asked for help, saying I need a pram, I’m a first time mother, and I am overwhelmed. Duh! Easiest sale ever. Just give me a couple of choices and I will be so grateful I will buy them from you immediately. Instead the woman told me to look around and went back to gossiping with the two other saleswoman who also weren’t helping the hoards of people walking around, looking helpless and lost. Last, I didn’t think the prices were that great, but like I said this was my first foray into pram shopping so it might be that I ran away like a scaredy-cat and missed the good stuff. So I won’t give them the one star as I am inclined.

Yes Pram Centre you will take my money, yes i will purchase a stroller for my small person type, yes it will probably be the best deal in town from a place that has a great selection of all things baby related, but GOD… service much??? Ok so i’m minus baby and wife(just now, not totally) and i’m dressed a bit shabbily with a two to three day stubble, but JEEZ, i’m actually rolling buggies up and down the isles testing them out, waving my wallet in the air and shouting… ” hmmmmm this one looks exactly like the one i want to buy!!! hmmmmmmmmmm, maybe i should buy it now!”…nothing Anyway, despite the lack of forthcoming service or to be honest, even a n acknowledging nod in my direction(maybe that invisibility cream i bought from the guy at the market does actually work!!!), i will be back here to purchase said buggy, as its well priced and has a great range.

The pram centre has a great variety of prams and general baby and nursery equipment. The prices are very competitive. However, I didn’t find the staff at the Pram Centre very helpful. It is also difficult to park. I have heard of several friends who have been let down with order dates from the Pram Centre. Also the area inside with the prams is very cramped and it can be very difficult ot pull the prams out properly to get a good look. I would recommend John Lewis over the pram centre — if the pram centre is cheaper John Lewis will price match.
