This place is fantastic and very cheap prices compared to some other places in the city centre. We found this place whilst wandering around the Barras and have to say their range is stunning and we now use this place as our first port of call when looking for material for our costumes. If they don’t have what you’re looking for then they can contact their supplier and try get it for you. I definitely recommend this place as the first stop when you’re looking for something a bit different.

Can’t believe I’ve only just found this place! Surprisingly big fabric shop with a great range of stock. They buy job lots, so that affects what they have in stock, but they keep their Facebook page updated with what they have in and they also gave me a business card and told me to phone any time I wanted to ask about stock. I couldn’t believe the prices — I got pure wool for £4.99 a metre and linen for £5.99 a metre. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful — I think I’m going to be a regular here! :-)

Visited yesterday for the first time. A feast of bargains with a bit of something for everyone — lycra, upholstery fabric, dressmaking, trimmings etc and some absolutely great service. Well worth a visit. Got some fabulous fabric and can’t wait to get sewing! Makes sewing for yourself real value for money.

A couple of months ago, I was charged with finding a large quantity of fabric for an event I was planning at work. After making an endless amount of phone calls to fabric shops, I ended up paying a visit to Fabric Bazaar on London Road.
The shop is easy to find, and there’s even a car park round the back. The staff were really friendly and helpful — and were more than happy to help me find what I was looking for.
They have a huge selection of fabrics at Fabric Bazaar — and it’s all very reasonably priced. They found me some fabric that was just what I was looking for — and far cheaper than I had been quoted elsewhere. After cutting it and rolling it up for me, they even carried it to my car.
It doesn’t get much better than that!

one of the best fabric shops, prices are very good, and the variety at times amazing. one of the great things about this shop is the staff, very helpful and very funny!!! go out of their ay to help. you should try fabric bazaar, you will be suprised. A great variety of zips, threads, elastics, and found irish linen at under 4 pounds.
