Clinton Cards

This branch of Clinton Cards is always busy and they have a great selection of cards (obviously), gift bags, gifts wrap, small gifts such as mugs, keyrings and Me To You teddy bears and a selection of miniature cakes for all occasions.
I bought G-​Bot a mini celebration cake for his birthday about 3 years ago and he still has it sealed, gathering dust in his room. I wouldn’t advise eating it now though and to be honest they’re probably better for decoration as the cakes are always those traditional raisin cakes with marzipan icing. Yuck.
At the front of the shop they have a cute mix of 99p cards and I saw a few really pretty ones with smarties and cupcakes on the, an absolute bargain at 99p! Most of them don’t come with a message written on them so you can tailor them for whatever purpose it is you need them for, perfect!

Another Clinton Cards shop, this one being on the ground floor of Buchanan Galleries right next to the doors which is handy.
It’s got a good selection of products for different occasionas and is next to a Thorntons which makes for a snappy last-​minute birthday present rush combo a doddle.
It’s a decent size inside with enough room to move around (except for Christmas time) and the staff are polite and helpful.
Reasonably priced and a good shout for birthday cards with a good selection of humourous ones.
There’s Papyrus closeby, just outside the door which has funkier (and more expensive) cards.
For a generic ‘Oh I should probably get a card…’ affair, this is a good candidate to make sure you get what you want first time instead of running around loads of card shops.
