I haven’t been in Claire’s accessories for years, I popped in with my friend to get hair clips for her wee girl. It’s def a shop for teenagers, lots of 1D items and lots of false eyelashes and hair accessories and some cute wee accessories and lovely scarfs and hats. I think they still do ear piercing too. It’s a well located shop and they have a good choice of accessories and great for picking up stocking fillers and what not.

Claire’s is certainly a pocket money sort of persons place. My little cousin who is now 11, has bought many fluffy things there mostly pink in colour. I did get my ears pierced here many moons ago and you will be shocked to find out that the ear piercing people are not at all very experienced. Yes, they are actually just shop assistants who have been shown how to use the gun! Ahh, thats a scarey thougt, when people let there children go here. So there is always a good selection of nice little pink things, glitter covered things, and nail polishes galore. It is a fab place to go when you are looking for christmas presents for friends when your in primary school

Claire’s Accessories is the sort of place you go when you get your pocket money aged 9, and you want to buy some fancy shiny glittery hairband which will be overpriced, and break 2 days later. Now, being 20-something, I dont tend to shop here, and if I do, it’s mainly for costume jewellery, cheapy earrings, or hair clips. The products,(all things hair-wise, jewellery-wise, accessory-wise), are generally expensive and of poor quality(even their £4 ‘surprise bags’ cant have items in them worth more than 50p). The staff are forced to wear deely-boppers at Christmas *cringe* and try and swindle you out of that final £1 at the till for one of the ‘bargains’(«nail file anyone?» «broken keyring?»). A last resort, but still fun to browse around — they now stock hen party items too, which for a store aimed at 8 year olds, troubles me greatly.
