Caledonian Property Letting

Absolutely horrendous service. Truly one of the worst property letting agencies I have ever come across. Completely unprofessional and juvenile. I strongly urge everyone not to deal with them unless they wish to do business with rude, arrogant, conniving and overall terrible people (Especially the female who answers the phone. How she is still employed there is beyond me). After being constantly lied to, I will never ever pay a single penny or even waste my time with Caledonian Property Letting. Please, I strongly urge you to avoid them if you wish to live a long and prosperous life. They are the sole reason why property letting companies need to be monitored and regulated. Avoid.

This company is simply awful, we currently have a number outstanding issues with the flat, which have been with us since we moved in OVER A YEAR AGO! They’re clearly incredibly lazy, and not bothered at all about their tenants’ needs, plus I find it incredibly stupid that the Landlord for our property does not wish to be contacted directly about the properties he has rented out. He lives abroad, and the company have to contact him about issues with the property, and they seem to take their sweet time doing so! During the spring of this year, our hot water stopped working, and it took SIX WEEKS for them to get off their arses and have someone come around to fix it! And when we contacted them to complain, they had the cheek to take an incredibly exasperated tone with me, as if it was all my fault that there was a misunderstanding between myself and the electrician! They are incapable of apologising, clearly have no idea how to treat their tenants, and I’m VERY surprised indeed that they’re still in business. We will not be renting through this company again! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

It is a wonder this company is still in business. We have had so many problems with our property that have taken months to resolve only after numerous emails from us to them. They are incapable of accepting the blame and the woman from the office is incredibly rude. Flat inspections that are supposed to happen every 3 months just don’t happen. We have been told this is because they have so many properties to deal with clearly biting off more than they can chew by having far too many properties for the staff to handle, no wonder service is so shameful. A recent problem that lasted for months was only resolved after we threatened to consult our local council housing officer, and even then they had the cheek to blame us for the problem not being dealt with sooner! It’s shocking how long they take to help their tenants and as soon as we find a good time to move we will be doing so! Steer clear of this company when renting a property!
