Now giving a five-star rating for a Burger King ‘restaurant’ does pain me slightly. BUT, this is by far the best Burger King I’ve been in (and I’ve been in a few…).
It is really handy to pop into after/before hopping on the bus/train. Meanwhile, it has a few window stools which allow you to hide out of the way and people watch as you have a quick snack. It is also good for popping in to have some food before/during a town based drinking session.
However, this location does mean that you should try and avoid this outlet during the lunchtime peak as it gets crazy busy. Similarly, later on it does seem to attract its fair share of drunks.
All in all, a nice cheap and cheerful burger joint in a handy local. Plus, the smallness does, mostly, guarantee that it tends to be quieter than other Burger Kings.

I am partial to a Burger King, particularly now it’s cheap with the King Deals.
This one is good enough, but time and time again when I ask for my burger ‘plain’ it’s nothing but.
Can’t really fault the food, but the service can be pretty poor.
It only ever gets busy around lunch time so you don’t need to wait that long when you go in which is ace.
Compared to McDonalds, Burger King will always win for me.

You all know what to expect from Burger King, slightly better tasting burgers than Mcdonalds, but more expensive with worse fries and a smaller selection. It’s how it’s always been.
However, they currently do an excellent deal where you can get a cheeseburger meal for £1.99, or a double cheeseburger meal for £2,99, making it very hard to walk past if you’re hungry and don’t feel like cooking.
This particular Burger King outlet is also tiny and usually very quiet so you’ll often get a fresh made burger rather than one that’s been decaying there for hours. Can’t fault the place.
