Bowl Food has the coolest truck in the history of cool trucks. It’s not just about the truck though — the food is delicious too!
I got to try Bowl Food at the Eaglesham Beer Fest yesterday. They had two dishes on — jerk chicken and a beef tagine. I got one of each to take home and then shared them for an early dinner. For £5 each they were really good sized portions and I actually couldn’t finish all of mine.
The jerk chicken came with bean rice and pineapple salsa and had two super tasty chicken drumsticks in it. I loved the flavour of all it — the chicken was luscious, the rice was really well seasoned and the pineapple salsa was such a lovely accompaniment. The beef tagine had generous chunks of slow cooked beef and was served with a lovely cous cous, harissa yoghurt & flaked almonds. YUM.
I can’t wait to try more of their delicious eats when they pop up again in Glasgow.
