Bean Me Up

I had to do a wee double take on this coffee cart that has appeared in Partick Train Station or should it say Patrick Stewart Train Station. Yes it does indeed say «Bean Me Up».
Of course the excitement of a new business led me travelator stylee to the counter. Although not a coffee drinker I perused the menu to see what other refreshments were on offer. I ordered a small hot chocolate with caramel syrup, sickly I know but mmmm. It was ideal as I was frozen and had some time before my train was due.
I think this is a great wee addiction to the newly refurbished station. I think I’ll be swinging by again to see what else they have from the cart. Unfortunately there’s nothing really Star Trekkie about it and my coffee didn’t beam me home. Meh! I can only dream.
There’s also one at Cowcaddens Underground so I think maybe more will appearing soon. Glasgow Subway have been tweeting already asking if there should be more. The Cowcaddens branch does hot food so I think it’ll be a popular move for SPT.
