I ended up buying online but had 2 amazing experiences here. Friendly, helpful and made me feel like a princess which is how it should be. No pressure sales as well. Would recommend to all brides.

Never Again I bought 4 dresses here spending over £800 Not including the alterations. They were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble… Once the dresses were in, it all changed, suddenly we could not attend at the weekend for a fitting as no fitters, well I thought they must have to make an exception, most people work during the week. Nope no flexibility and rude attitude when I stated this. I was told by the woman, can only imagine was the manager«its in the small print and if I was spending all that money I would have read it. When asked why there was no fitters on a Saturday I was told«Saturday is a selling day, I like to go shopping at the weekend, I have a life you know and so do my girls» Her next suggestion was equally moronic, «can’t your bridesmaids just phone in sick from work to come» to which I stated I would not ask them to do, plus it’s not just one fitting it’s 2!!! Further to this when I thought I only have to get one dress altered elsewhere I as told no they must all come in together as other wise«dresses go missing» well, that made me feel real confident! Once they had my money their after sales service was a disgrace and attitude was worse. Oh and a note to finish, they tried to talk me into taking extra length for 2 of the dresses as «they will need it, trust me» at a further cost of course! I stuck to my guns and said no and when the dresses arrived they were too long, the extra length was never needed, just an extra con.

Angelique Lamont looks like a well established bridal store with a huge variety of dresses. Me and my boyfriend embarrassingly pretended to be getting hitched for the purposes of this review, and it was actually quite a fun experience! We stumbled upon this place while having a gander in town today and didn’t have to make an appointment in order to browse what was on offer. The staff were friendly but not intrusive or pushy, they were informative, and as for bride gowns we were bowled over at the variety of styles available! There were were funky flamboyant meringue dresses of course, but lots of elegant designs which looked like they’d hug ladies of all sizes in all the right places! I love simple glamourous dresses like these, all complete with sweetheart necklines. There were various promotions on offer. They offered full bridal sets, including veils for under £500 which was pretty unbelievable! There were also an array of accessories to buy on their own and practical necessities, such as inflight boxes, for reasonable prices. Some gowns were beautiful and didn’t seem to break the bank. The bridesmaid dresses were drag-tastic — it felt like we were in a different shop when we saw some of these horrors displayed in all their day-glo glory. But there were some hidden darling designs, so don’t be deterred by the neon gore displayed in the window! There’s actually not too much in the name of WAG wears, so consider it almost a garish-free zone. Although a couple of the bridal gowns reminded me of Channel 4’s My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding, where would any good bridal store be without its outlandish efforts? All the dresses were fun, and some were stunning. So if you are tying the knot, try stopping by here. If you’re just interested in having a looksie like me, you’ll find yourself resisting the urge to try the items on! If I had done, that might’ve been too weird… I’ll save it for the real thing!
