Howard Hall

The Howard Hall in Wigmore is probably better known as the Freemasons Hall. It is opposite the Smallholders Club in Woodside.
If you can manage to get this hall, it’s a great size for a relatively small gathering — no more than 100 people. They allow you to use the kitchens and the bar is at club prices. They have a special area for the DJ or band, but beware the sound limiting because of neighbourhood proximity.
Because of its size, it is a great venue for the smaller function. I’ve been here for several occasions, both personal and of a Freemason nature (and no, we’re not in it) and on every occasion it has been great.
Book early to avoid disappointment, but don’t try for 18^th or 21^st birthdays — they just won’t do them due to past experience!
