We were really disappointed with this company, and in particular Ali, who was my main point of contact. We booked a tarot card reader through them and thought everything was set and taken care of, until I contacted the tarot card reader personally to give my info in case of emergency on the day of the wedding, and found out that not only had she not been confirmed, she hadn’t received payment, nor was she aware of where the venue was that she had been booked. Also, the woman requested to bring her husband to work with her, as the wedding was on New Year’s Eve and didn’t want to spend the holiday without him. I found this puzzling and when I approached Stylish to help fix the problem(s), I found them to be not only less than helpful, but unable to understand why I was upset in the first place. In the end, they ended up canceling the tarot card reader with a promise to refund our deposit. It was a couple of weeks later that we received notice(from Nigel himself) that they would not in fact be refunding our deposit and they felt that the entire miscommunication and fault was my own. Not only did I have to find another tarot card reader on my own, but we ended up paying more money because we booked on short notice. Overall, I feel they were unprofessional in more ways than one(hard to get into all of the specifics in a review) and that they were mainly dissatisfied with the amount of work they ended up doing for the only act I booked with them. Had I booked more than one act, I have a feeling they might have tried harder to keep my business, which really shows their character. It was when I was reading through their Terms and Conditions sheet and saw how many misspellings there were, that I realized maybe their lack of attention to detail takes on more forms than one. There is also a bad review on Google+ from another unhappy customer and their experiences with Stylish closely mirror our own. I don’t recommend them if you’re looking for an ethical company and a stress-free way to book talent for your big day.
