It can be hard to find somewhere decent to eat in small provincial towns like Frome, especially if you don’t know the area.
Located adjacent to the River Frome, in the center of the town, the Balti Delight is indeed a delight to find: an Indian restaurant with enthusiastic management and friendly staff, good quality food and impeccable service. The décor is modern, with bright colours. It’s a little cramped if they are very busy, but not intolerably so.
The menu is standard Indian-​Bengali cuisine, with a range of Balti dishes and curries, including some interesting house specialities and a plentiful selection for vegetarians. The wine list is a bit limited, but I think beer goes better with curry anyway. It does get very busy at week-​ends, so booking ahead is advisable. Expect to pay about £25-£30 a head, all in.
