Watsons is one of the best butchers in the area. The shop is small but looks just like a butchers should with meat hooks, white tiles and wooden chopping blocks. The meat from here is fabulous its not the cheapest, but the quality is amazing. It is fully traceable and supplied from local farms. We ordered a full rib of beef from here for a dinner party and whilst we felt like the Flintstones leaving with such a large piece of cow in our bag it was £30 well spent easily fed 20 people and was a joy to cook and eat. Another time I asked them to prepare veal for schnitzels I was making and they took all the hard work out of it, by tenderising and hammering out the steaks for me.
