I love skuba — it has a relaxed and laid back attitude, the people are really nice and it has a good mixed vibe. the outdoor area is friendly for smokers, the beer and spirit collection modern and up to date, and the live music is great!

With its reputation as a hip, happening place — this bar doesn’t fail to impress. With its large covered, heated seating outside and gardens with tables beyond that there is plenty of space for everyone. A lovely place to sit, eat and drink in the summer, the place comes into itself in the evenings all year round. With a variety of entertainment from karaōke to live DJ sets, this bar is almost always busy. Packed on a Friday and Saturday night its the place to be.
Only drawback, the bar is a little on the small side, but if you are enjoying yourself, you wont even notice the wait for a drink!

Skuba is a trendy bar. It is open during the day and has a very nice garden and covered in gazebo type area with outdoor heaters. During the day they sell a nice selection of bar food. This is a new menu introduced this summer. In my opinion it is a bit too big and this means that none of the food is amazing, it is all just ok. If they had a smaller menu then they could focus on making each dish brilliant. The prices are very good so that is a bonus and it is one of the few bars that you can sit outside during the summer with children and have some lunch and a drink. During the eveing it turns into a pretty lively place, they have a karaōke night as well as selling cocktails. This bar as known as being a local gay bar but it is just owned by a gay man, it is not aimed at gay people and is frequented by a wide variety of people.
