This is my go-to charity shop on the high street. It is huge! It is also the cleanest, has the best bargains, and a large selection of furniture and shelving. You will usually find my coming out of there with a book or kitchenware, and if you don’t it’s because instead I’ve bought some crazy piece of art for a friend’s birthday. Because there are pockets of Japanese, Indian and Jewish communities around, there are always lots of cool items to examine. Also a great place for cheap picture frames. The staff are ridiculously friendly and help as much as they can. The manager is so happy and it’s like speaking to an old friend. I can even hear her speaking happily to the staff in the backroom– you would never know she was giving them tasks. The have home delivery too! Because sometimes you just can’t lug home that gorgeous drink cabinet on your own.
