Glen Gardens

The glen gardens is the place to go if you want good fun for kids without feeling under pressure to spend too much. I have sometimes taken my Brownies there. It is a short train trip but is often the first time they have been on a train. We head for Glen gardens looking for clues I have picked out previously. Once there we eat our lunch sitting on the grass well away from traffic fumes. Then its swings etc. and plenty of space. One time we met a brownie pack from South Yorkshire and there are often other groups around. It is good to sit on a seat watching the kids play safely and having space but staying close. There is café if you need a hot drink or an ice cream. The food looks good too. When the girls are ready to move on the toilets are handy before we head for the beach. Glen gardens is a good family fun.
