I went to the Felixstowe branch, for the first time in a year. Not very impressed — a small shop trying to be a big shop. Anyway I brought a few items of food and they wanted 5p for a carrier bag! The bag only cost them 1⁄10th of a penny. Total rip off & the food wasn’t that great either.

Not the biggest Marks and Spencers in the world if you are just after some lazy but tasty food this is ideal. It’s definitely geared towards the older market as their is no ‘per una’ or anything that would suit a man under 50. However, it’s still nice to have and you can always be assured of quality. There is ample parking behind the store and the cost to park is reasonable. Overall, if you’re going for food, Marks is great; if you are after clothes then expect a limited amount.

This is a small outlet of the main M&S chain of shops. It has a good range of basics in the clothing lines for men and women, but no childrens items apart from some school uniform things. However, 90% of the time these clothing options will suffice. There is a small gifts and plants and flowers section which also stocks cards and wrapping paper. The food hall represent s a good half of the floor space and is extremely well stocked with fresh fruit and veg, chillde items, bakery items as well as general store goods too. The staff in this shop are friendly and relaxed and much more helpful that at some larger, impersonal outlets. There is aprking for free for half an hour at the front of the shop and a cheap pay and display car park at the back. M&S also offer a collect service where you leave your M&S shopping until you have finished your shopping elswhere. You can then park in their loadng bay and they will bring your shopping to your car.
