We have been here for lunch. I had to go for the toilet first and what i saw there, was a nice preparation for the things to come. It really smelled bad and looked the same way. I ordered some noodles with cheese. I took them about 15 minutes to serve them (i think they made them fresh). Actually they tasted good, but they were served in dirty dishes, included 3 hairs and my glass of coke looked like it wasn’t cleaned within a week. The Pub itself looks very nice and the service is very nice too. I can’t recommend this Pub for eating, but for a nice evening with live music and beer it’s maybe the place to go. And bring something to stick up your nose when you need to go to the toilet

The Ship is a good, old-​fashioned pub that has just been taken over by new owners. Set in a really old coaching house plus more recent extensions, it is quite an attractive place to look at. Sitting just back from the main Farnborough Road its a great place to pop in for a quick one if you are on the way to the airfield and stuck in traffic. It has a new outdoor seating area with new benches and it has been neatened up significantly.
Suffers a little from some of the local clientèle being less than desirable but nevertheless not too bad a place to get a wet.
