This place is absolutely awful! We were told that we could only have the carvery and I wish I’d gone to Burger King instead! The meat was dry, the vegetables looked as though they’d come from a sewer and tasted of nothing, the gravy was probably the best thing about it. Horrible horrible horrible!

We were visiting family and went here for dinner. They have a carving station, so you can either get the buffet or order a meal. Three of us ordered meals and one person ordered the buffet. Unfortunately, it took forever for us to get our meals, so by the time they were ready, the carving station was out of the original meats (pork and lamb) and there was only gammon available (which the person who had ordered the buffet wasn’t interested in). So he then had to order a meal off the menu. It probably took 45 – 60 minutes before we got our food — really frustrating (especially since we had a 2-​year-​old with us).
The food was decent, but nothing to rave about. I had the champagne chicken, which was fine, but was supposed to come with carrots — these were missing. My mom had the lasagna, which was nice. Someone on the table got yorkshire pudding with mashed potatoes and sausage, which was ok at best.
