Big Fry

I happened to be passing Big Fry last night with my wife. We were a bit peckish, so decided to drop by and purchase some chips. We opted for a large bag of chips between us which came to £2. When I got home and opened the box I couldn’t believe it, I have found bigger portions inside the contents of a handkerchief. Really miserable, the contents barely filled two sideplates. Being a Northern lad I am partial to soggy chips, however if I want them soggy I will have my chips with gravy or mushy peas NOT VINEGAR! I was asked if I wanted vinegar and so much was put on the chips that I had to pour it out of the box when I got home. I’m not saying the acid was strong, but whenever I put a chip to my mouth I singed all my nasal hairs! If as a chippy they can’t even get a bag of chips right, then there is no way I will be going back to sample any more of their so called cuisine. Definately a place to avoid and a pity I had to give it 1 star!
