King Arthur’s Meadery is in Budock Vean, just at the bottom of the hill on the left, parking across the road on the right. They have the exact same menu/drinks/furnishings etc as the Redruth Meadery, the full menu can be found at —
They serve groups really well and the place is laid out just like a medieval eating hall, with twisting stairs, big round tables and tall back chairs. Lots of red’s and yellows. The menu’s pretty standard for these places, chicken in the rough, fried fish, ribs and loads of chips. The starter’s are really big and are easily shared such as garlic mushrooms and the jalapeño bites which taste great. The foods all well priced along with the drinks, it’s worth trying the authentic mead as well though watch your head in the morning! The staff are all dressed to «historical» standards and are all friendly, if you ask nicely they’ll sort some mead out to take home, they also offer a takeaway service. Great for taking the kids too, really recommended.
