Just like my granny’s house, beautiful pre war furniture, doilies, carnations in vases and gladly not a pretentious victory role in sight, just beautiful Victoria sponges and victoriously moist cakes on display.
A nice selection of simple savouries too.
Mint and pea soup with wholemeal pitta and a cup of hot chocolate on a rainy day cheered me right up.
Go with a gaggle and lounge on the sofa. A lovely place to relax with a tea.
