We found the staff at the Café to be freindly and attentive. It is always the luck-of-the-draw, and the final vote is in your wallet I suppose. The food was very good. Value = brilliant offer on Staff = very good Ambiance = not quite right Very stuffy(smoke from kitchen/not snobbery) We will go again_beware!!!

A lovely upmarket delicatessen on a cobbled side street in Exeter. Owned by the chef Michael Caines, the boutique runs alongside his restaurant at the Abode Hotel in Exeter. Great looking and tasting sandwiches, wraps and salads to take away and they also have premium honeys and spreads, though I was disappointed to find that the honey was nowhere near local. The staff are a huge disappointment here: unfriendly, rude and condescending.
