Ewell is a funny little village. It has quite a range of shops from a dive shop to a specialist cotton shop but not a butcher or fruiterer, which would make it feel like more of a community village. Ganache lies in a little grouping of cafes on Ewell High Street. Like the others, it serves up breakfasts and light lunches like sandwiches and jacket potatoes. However, unlike the others, it also offers high class desserts and afternoon tea. For around a tenner, you can get the same food as you get in a Ritz high tea — scones with cream and preserves, a selection of cakes and some finger sandwiches. The home made chocolates are also yummy. Worth stopping for a cuppa here.
