the first I had heard about this place was when the Hairy Bikers visited northern ireland and stopped off to sample some locally produced food they highlighted this butcher and on a recent visit I decided to check it out for myself. I am not a fan of butcher shops but this is quite an eye opener. It had a large selection of game including Pheasants and Rabbit locally sourced but it was the black bacon that I came to check out and I came away with some boiling black bacon (an irish dish) and some nitrite free bacon also. This shop is a treasure trove for carnivores and would please the vegetarians if they could bear to venture in as it has a fine array of deli produce and all made with the finest ingredients. Worth the extra for the quality.
