The food is very average. 1) Mixed grill that you daren’t eat if you have dentures 2) Toad in the hole, lovely sausages, mash was disgusting. Wine was like paint stripper(not house white but more expensive one). Waited an age to get served a drink at the bar. Staff however were lovely and attentive once you got one. Good amount of parking available. Trying to be gastro, but should be honest to it’s roots and just be an average Sunday pub for lunch.

We had a family lunch/brunch at the Jolly Farmers in June. Things to know: — can handle large groups — has outdoor dining space — has parking — is kid friendly The food: — children’s menu — does a roast special on weekends(chicken or beef) — does a great meat pie meal — has good options from a variety of appetizers like chicken wings, pull apart bread, nachos, to main courses which are meat pies, fish and chips, mixed grill, roasts, burgers, sandwiches and jacket potatoes — nice offerings for desserts including ice cream Staff were friendly and helpful. Try it out!

Tardis-sized pub on the outskirts of London. It does look big from the outside and it appears even bigger on the inside. But they’ve handled the cavernous space well. The pub has been divided into several areas with couches and tables and chairs dotted around. There are many nooks and crannies, so it’s possible to have a cosy, intimate drink for two. The outside drinking area is pretty, with many hanging baskets, although it’s unfortunate that the pub sits on a busy and noisy main road. Back inside and there’s a good selection of real ales and wines and the food is OK.
