Even though I don’t live in Egham I go to the Egham branch of Specsavers for my eye tests and my glasses. I have been to the Staines branch in the past but wasn’t particularly happy with the service I got or how well my glasses fitted.
The Egham branch is smaller so I’ve always found it easier to get an appointment and the optician spends a lot of time with you to do the eye test properly and to help adjust your glasses (when you’ve bought them).
You can book your appointment online through their website which is a big help and I’ve never had a problem getting a slot.
They have a wide range of frames and frequently have special offers (such as two pairs for £75). I’ve never had to wait long for my glasses.
