Prezzo

We went for the starter to share which is the perfect size for two hungry food lovers! The bread at prezzo is amazing !
What let me down is that I had to have an alternate main meal as the chicken I had initially ordered was unavailable (they ran out of those main ingredients such as the mushrooms etc). If it’s a popular dish, but more ingredients ! I was then under pressure to order another dish so went for the chicken with spinach and mushrooms (I thought they had run out of mushrooms ?) It was a good dish overall, lots of meat on the plate covered by steamed spinach and mushroom and it came with a side salad with barely any dressing !
My date however, had no problem chowing down on his pizza and enjoying it! The food was good, so was the atmosphere and friendly staff which are hard to find in London!
If I didn’t have to spend another 10 minutes deciding on what to have for an alternate meal, I would have given a better rating.
Ps: there’s a trail close to Prezzo after the Ferrari car shop where you could walk/​hike up the trails (very doable even in casual shoes) to burn off or digest your food! The scenery is magnificent and it leads one to the Air Force war memorial, beautiful.
All in all, I will recommend Prezzo as they have more options for low carb or no carb eaters unlike Pizza Express.

OOH! I love Italian food! I was treated to a meal at Prezzo which my (half-​Italian family) were raving about for ages!
They were right to rave! What a wonderful meal… the food, the service, the ambiance was as good as it gets!
Bearing in mind that out party ranged from a fussy 80 year old & an equally fussy 15 year old, & everyone left very full & very happy, Prezzo really was that good!
The starters were delicious, I particularly recommend the bruschetta & the calamari.
Feeling suitably happy we moved onto the main courses… this took a LOT of time to decide… we all made up our minds, only to be tempted by another dish… the staff were more than happy to give us the time!
Between us, we covered every type of Italian dish on the menu!
My choice of chicken, bacon & avocado salad was 100% sumptuous. Only complaint: I wanted more! The other members of the family chose the Calzone, the Spaghetti & Meatballs, the Calabrese & the Lobster & Crab Tortelli. Everyone loved their food!
The wine list is good, we left more than happy & as soon as we can, we are going back again! Just YUM!
