Medusa

Had an appointment with stylist Sophie for a cut and blow dry that exceeded my expectations. When booking the appointment I’d asked for a stylist that would be able to smooth out and tame my naturally thick, frizz-​prone wavy hair.
Head massage during hair washing was quite nice, but one thing I found a bit odd was that when I mentioned the water temperature was a little too hot I was told it was at a set temperature.
Sophie and I talked about the cut I wanted (cut off the dead ends but keep the length and layers) and hairstyle for the blowdry (I had a special occasion later so I asked for a standard Duchess of Cambridge type blowout, smooth and straight but with some movement).
The cut and style were pretty much exactly what I wanted, and at 38 quid very reasonable for what I got.
The salon itself is modern but friendly and I had a nice latte during my brief wait for Sophie. Would love to return for a color appointment if Sophie is as good at color as cutting and styling.
